I hopped on a call with a client yesterday – a vibrant woman in her mid-60s who’s been having some pesky urinary issues. We chatted about urgency, leakage, and all that fun stuff. I casually mentioned vaginal estrogen or DHEA, and she was like, “Oh, I can’t do that – I’m past the 5-year menopause mark, and estrogen’s a no-go for me. Plus, I’m worried about breast cancer.”

Oh, dear, let me set the record straight! Those assumptions are about as accurate as a horoscope – cute, but not quite right. You, my friend, have been misinformed, and it’s not your fault. The scientific community dropped the ball, and now women are paying the price. Menopause hormone treatment (MHT) or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been unfairly vilified, leaving thousands of women high and dry.

Enter the “lost generation” – women like my mom, who were told hormones were unsafe, caused cancer, and led to heart disease and stroke. It’s time to rewrite that narrative!

Here’s the revised sentence with a more professional phrase:

Dr. Rachel Rubin provides a candid and informative discussion in this eye-opening podcast with Dr. Peter Attia. She calls out the scientific community and urges us women to get informed, get empowered, and advocate for ourselves.

It’s time to take control of our menopause journey and show those urinary issues who’s boss!

This is a MUST listen to podcast for every woman.  Gentlemen share it with the women you love.
